Esteemed video director/photographer 13thWitness has dropped his second music festival mini-documentary series with Belvedere Vodka, following his videos at Coachella with Wale and Fool’s Gold Records – this time traveling to Lollapalooza to chronicle a “Day in The Life” with electro pop vocalist Dan Black, and the Dubstep DJ titan, Rusko. Each video vignette features insight into the creative aspirations of each artist, exclusive on-stage footage, and a glimpse into the energy of the Chicago-based festival.

The HOF “End of Summer” Tour Returns to Sacramento!

The dreaded “end of Summer” is here. It’s time for a lot of us to check back into reality and give our dancing shoes some much needed rest.

We’ve had a blast all Summer long – throwing parties, countless nights of binge drinking, and expanding our network all over the United States. Everyone knows how much we LOVE to throw house parties. That being said, we’re including one final Summertime rager in our “End of Summer” series.

This party will be INVITATION ONLY.

Invites will be sent out on Facebook all week. You MUST be on the list to get inside! No exceptions!

Here’s the goods…

-Doors open at 9! We’ll be raging until they shut us down.

-$3 at the door.

-Free beer as usual. There will also be cheap drinks.

-As stated earlier, this is an INVITATION ONLY event. There will be a list at the door.

Music to your ears: Allan Guevara

With the increasing acceptance of dance music in mainstream Hip Hop/Top 40, a lot of local dance producer/DJ’s have been popping up on the interwebz lately. I think it’s great to see these people represent Sacramento, and I only encourage the creativity that results from it. However, there’s one producer in mind who I feel must be heard. You might have heard his song “You Know” make a finale appearance on Meet My Cousins: Vinny & Diamond Vol. I or maybe you heard it dancing your heart out at Club 21 during Risqué…
If not, then you are reading the right post. Representing Sacramento, CA, his name is Allan Guevara, and HOF is giving you the first ever download link to his breakthrough song, “You Know.” (And a little bonus track)

If anyone knows music, its definitely this guy. You can hear it in his build ups, drops, and uplifting voice. Keep up with this man, for this is just a sample of what he has to share with the world. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

ABSOLUT x Spike Lee: ABSOLUT BROOKLYN

I haven’t really posted anything other than events for a while so I thought I’d end my drought with this badboy…

ABSOLUT BROOKLYN is part of a 4 city collection created by ABSOLUT in attempts to raise funds for local non-profit organizations in the respective cities. ABSOLUT will be donating a percentage of each bottle sale to these non-profit organizations.

That’s dope and all, but when we saw ABSOLUT BROOKLYN we definitely had to look deeper into it.

ABSOLUT BROOKLYN is a collaboration between ABSOLUT and Legendary Filmmaker Spike Lee. Spike Lee, being from Brooklyn, provided the creative input for the whole project. From the actual flavor to the bottle art, this stuff just screams “BROOKLYN”.

I’m pretty excited to see what this leads to.

And when do we get to see an ABSOLUT SACRAMENTO…?

Aside from being one of the dopest things to ever happen in the liquor biz, this select flavor tastes REALLY good.

We got the chance to try it in Texas with Cran-Apple and Ginger Ale. 5 out of 5 for sure.

If you ever happen to run into one of these things, BUY IT! Highly recommended.
