“OFFLINE” is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time now. Sacramento culture is at a shifting point and the fact that there’s an untapped well of talent here is no longer a secret. We think it’s time organizations like HOF start to curate platforms specifically for this pool of emerging talent to thrive on. #HOFDAY accomplishes that on a macro level and the goal of “OFFLINE” is to do the same but at a much more intimate, micro level.

“OFFLINE” will be a series of events powered by HOF & TPOS (@thepeopleofsacramento) and is a performance driven event that sources the best and brightest artists that Sacramento and the surrounding region has to offer. Guests can expect an intimate atmosphere that allows the artist full expression and intimacy with their fans.

SO! When is the debut “OFFLINE” event?

It’s going down at Ruhstaller on Saturday, February 25th. None other than Sac’s rising star, Hobo Johnson and his band The Lovemakers, will be headlining the show with support from the likes of Jordan Moore, Sunday School, and DLRN.

“OFFLINE” with Hobo Johnson & The Lovemakers is FREE with RSVP from 8pm-9pm and $10 after. The flyer’s below. We’ll see you there!

I grew up in Sacramento in a time where there was no young entertainment company like HOF to look up to. I met Tony in LA while I was managing LBCK in Long Beach. I kind of knew Damian from middle school. And I didn't know Byron even though we went to the same middle school. But when we first started partying together in 2011, it just made sense for me...someone who's passionate about the business side of music...to align with them...who're passionate about the business side of events. I believe what I'm doing here...running the site and the social media and the artist management/publicity and the label...is creating a means to better spotlight and support the emerging artists we truly believe in. They say no one's ever "made it" out of Sacramento. It's my ultimate mission to change that. As our boy Marcus says, "We're bringing Sacramento to The World...and we're bringing The World to Sacramento."
